"What is the best way to eat N'oats?"

N'oats Cereal is delicious on its own - like a trail mix - or with milk, on top of yogurt. I use it as an apple-crumble topping as well!

"What is the cereal’s shelf life?"

10-12 months from the package date but it can be extended by refrigerating or freezing.

"Where can I get the cereal?"

Many excellent and local health conscious stores are carrying our product. Please click on the buy now tab and all of our suppliers will be listed. If you know of a store that would benefit by stocking our product, please email us at jessica@noatscereal.ca

"What is a paleo diet?"

"The paleolithic diet, also known as the paleo diet or caveman diet, is a diet based on the food humans' ancient ancestors might likely have eaten, such as, nuts and berries, and excludes food which they wouldn’t eat, like dairy or refined sugars and oats". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paleolithic_diet

"Is this cereal only for people on the Paleo diet?"

Absolutely not. This delicious product can also enhance other specialized diets such as gluten free, vegetarian or vegan options. It is also a good choice for people who are unable to have refined sugars or just looking for a healthy choice.

"What are the health benefits of N'oats Paleo cereal?"

Where to start?

N'oats is packed full of:

Antioxidants - we have chosen ingredients with this in mind.

Fibre rich ingredients such as almonds, pecans, walnuts, cashews, and sunflower seeds

Almonds are included due to their superior nutrition.  They are high in vitamin E, calcium, phosphorous, iron and      magnesium they also include zinc, selenium, copper, and niacin.

Cashews are high in protein, iron and zinc (which is really important if you are on a vegetarian diet). They're also rich in  magnesium, which helps delay age-related memory loss.

Pecans have lots of plant sterols, which help lower cholesterol levels. Eating pecans help prevent plaque formation that  causes hardening of the arteries and they are rich in oleic acid and B3 which helps fight fatigue.

Walnuts have heart-friendly fats, which is said to lower bad cholesterol (LDL). Walnuts have lots of omega-3, which is  important if you don’t eat oily fish.

"Where is the cereal made?"

We have our own facility in Puslinch, ON (just outside of Guelph!)

"Is it comparable to anything else on the market?"

You can check, but our homework shows that other cereals aren’t this tasty and most of them aren't oat free!  The restrictions for my son’s diet delegate that no grains are to be consumed. Oats and grains are the base (filler) for most cereals, and finding a breakfast cereal or snack without grains or oats can be a next to impossible task. There are honey sweetened options for those unable to have sugars, and high fibre options for health conscious individuals, however the number of people needing healthier alternative is growing.  If you are one of these individuals with a specialized diet, look no further.  Our cereal is different because we focus on your needs and assure quality and taste. This is why our slogan says “ all of the nutrition with none of the restriction”.
